Shipyu ("we," "our," or "us") operates the shipment tracking dashboard at shipyu.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and password.

Shipment Data: We process tracking numbers, carrier information, and shipment status data you provide or import to deliver our multi-carrier tracking service.

Usage Data: We collect analytics on how you use our order tracking software, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.

Third-Party Platform Integrations

Shipyu allows users to connect third-party ecommerce platforms and shipping providers in order to synchronize shipment information and logistics data into the Shipyu dashboard. These integrations are authorized directly by the user through secure authentication methods such as OAuth or API authorization.

Shipyu only accesses the minimum data required to provide shipment tracking visibility, logistics monitoring, and related operational features. This may include shipment tracking numbers, order shipment status, carrier information, and limited fulfillment details associated with the shipment.

Shipyu does not access or store payment credentials from connected platforms. Data retrieved from integrations is used solely to provide functionality within the Shipyu platform.

Amazon Seller Data (SP-API)

Shipyu integrates with Amazon Seller Central through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API). When a user authorizes Shipyu to connect to their Amazon seller account, Shipyu retrieves shipment-related information necessary to provide logistics visibility within the Shipyu dashboard.

This may include order shipment identifiers, tracking numbers, fulfillment information, and delivery status updates. In cases where required for shipment processing or visibility, Shipyu may access limited shipping address information associated with an order.

Amazon data is collected only after explicit user authorization and is used exclusively for providing the Shipyu service. Shipyu does not sell, distribute, or disclose Amazon data to third parties.

Amazon information is stored securely within Shipyu infrastructure and is protected using encryption in transit and encryption at rest. Access to this data is restricted to authorized application systems and authenticated users.

Shopify Data

Shipyu allows merchants to connect their Shopify stores to synchronize shipment and fulfillment data. After a store owner authorizes Shipyu through Shopify's OAuth connection process, Shipyu retrieves shipment-related information necessary to display tracking and fulfillment details within the Shipyu platform.

This may include order identifiers, fulfillment status, carrier information, and tracking numbers associated with shipments.

Shipyu does not access customer payment information or store payment credentials from Shopify. Retrieved data is used solely for logistics tracking and operational visibility features within the Shipyu dashboard.

Data Security

Shipyu uses industry-standard security measures to protect all data processed through the platform. Data is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections and stored using encrypted infrastructure provided by trusted cloud service providers.

Access to sensitive information is restricted through authentication controls and role-based access permissions. Shipyu maintains logging and monitoring systems to detect unusual access patterns and protect against unauthorized data access.

Data Retention

Shipyu retains integration data only for the period necessary to provide shipment tracking, logistics monitoring, and related services. Personally identifiable information associated with shipment records is retained only as required to support operational functionality and may be removed or anonymized after the shipment lifecycle has completed.

Users may disconnect integrations at any time, which immediately prevents Shipyu from retrieving new data from the connected platform.

Data Sharing

Shipyu does not sell or trade customer data or platform integration data. Information retrieved from connected ecommerce platforms and shipping providers is used solely to operate the Shipyu service for the authorized account.

Shipyu may rely on secure infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting and database services) to process and store data necessary to operate the platform. These providers are used solely to support Shipyu's technical infrastructure and are required to maintain appropriate security controls.

User Authorization and Control

Connections between Shipyu and third-party platforms such as Amazon Seller Central and Shopify are established only after explicit authorization from the user. Users may revoke access at any time through the respective platform or within the Shipyu dashboard.

Once authorization is revoked, Shipyu will no longer retrieve new data from the disconnected platform.
